Established in the 1990’s, Elephant Nature Park is a unique project set in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. It aims at providing a sanctuary and rescue centre for elephants.

There are no circus tricks and it is not a tourist entertainment. The Elephant Nature Park works to preserve and give care to distressed elephants and supports the humane treatment of working elephants. The park is a learning centre for people who want to learn first-hand about elephants and how to take care of them properly. There are several ways to help protect these elephants such as donation, spreading the information about the elephant protection and working at the park as a volunteer.

ECPAT is a global network of organisations and individuals working together to eliminate child prostitution, child pornography and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

The ECPAT acronym stands for “End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes”

It seeks to encourage the world community to ensure that children everywhere enjoy their fundamental rights to be free and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation.
